Jack
Zwicker has extensive experience in negotiation acquired
during the course of 33 years as a lawyer in the fields of
corporate/commercial and property law.
His combined skills in helping clients negotiate workable
agreements, and in litigating in the same areas of the law,
have enabled him to develop an approach to mediation which
emphasizes the need for realism and makes a place for
creativity. This two-pronged approach allows clients in
conflict to work out solutions which the law alone may not
make available to litigants.
Jack
has worked with both private and public sector clients as a
trainer and as a workplace process designer. He has
conducted workshops for the Social Services Department of
the Regional Municipality of York Region and is presently
involved in training workshops with the Real Estate Council
of Ontario, the licensing body for Ontario's real estate
agents.
Jack
also regularly lectures and contributes to several
publications. His article, "Mediation is the
Message" appeared in the December, 2003 issue of CA
magazine, which services Canada's chartered accountants. |
